Ester Industries Ltd manufactures Polyoxymethelene (POM) based compounds and markets it under the brand name 'ESTOPLAST –PM'.

POM resins, also known as Polyacetal, are resin compounds that possess numerous outstanding properties together with excellent flowability during molding.

POM resins are greatly popular across industries due to their high strength, hardness and rigidity at -40°C. Typically opaque white in color, these resins come in a range of colors due to their high crystalline composition. POM homopolymer is a semi-crystalline polymer (75–85% crystalline) with a melting point of 175 °C. The POM copolymer has a slightly lower melting point of 162–173 °C.

The most distinguishing feature of these plastic resins is their dimensional stability which sets them apart from metals. Moreover, they showcase excellent low and high-temperature performance, easy colorability and excellent synchronization with metal and other polymers.
